We have been busy breeding butterflies in Ms O’Mahony’s 3rd Class. We are looking forward to releasing them at our sensory garden soon to promote biodiversity around our school.
Here is our progress to date:
Stage 1: Eggs (we have no pictures of this stage)
Stage 2: Caterpillars – we had them as caterpillars for 10 days
Stage 3: Chrysalis – our current state
Stage 4: Butterflies: Due in possibly 10 days
