We have officially opened Nano’s playground 🥳 While our pupils have been enjoying the playground and outdoor learning area for the last year, we finally put the finishing touches to it this summer. We were delighted to welcome so many of our, parents, friends, and supporters from the community to the official launch.
We would like to sincerely thank the following without whom it would not have been possible:
The Presentation Sisters.
Tomar Trust: Maeve Cavanagh.
Councillor Tony FitzGerald, Sandra O’Meara and their colleagues in City Hall.
Laura Hedderman and Sarah ( our wonderful mural artists).
Gas Networks Ireland for funding the mural.
Dulux Paints and especially Ger Cahilane.
Jannssen Pharmaceuticlal (especially Steven Murphy and his colleague Ger).
Cork Lions’ club who offer us continued support (especially Tim Donovan).
Farranree Credit Union.
Our friends at Ashdale Catering and the McGinn family who are always at the end of the phone and who have supported our school in countless ways down through the years. Dunnes Stores in Ballincollig.
Our local councillors for their help and advice.
Browne Brothers who installed our playground.
McNamara Landscapes who created our sensory garden by hand, one stone at a time.
And our whole school community here in Farranree for their constant support, for all the sour lemon challenges, and for their faith and confidence in us as educators of their children.
